Speech Therapy Centre

Create an interior concept for a new speech therapy centre with 6 treatment rooms.

Augsburg, Germany (2021)

DESIGN CONCEPT:

Patients visiting a therapy centre are typically both children and adults. The chosen brief was to create an inviting, comfortable, and secure atmosphere for all clients.

Each of the 6 therapy rooms showcased an individual feature wall made from acoustic Styrofoam panels glued in various geometric patterns and were painted in its own unique and dusty pastel colour. The Styrofoam was chosen for its acoustic qualities, important for the sound therapy used in daily treatment. The warm and cheerful colours were chosen to make clients feel comfortable, confident, and creative within the space.

Although the clubroom a.k.a staff room was small and narrow, it got dramatically transferred into arguably the coolest room of the centre. Looking like a cool café, the colour pallet was very monochromatic, and the high table and bar stools were framed with an oversized hanging lamp.

Even though the centre is a rented premise, new Dry walls were introduced, the flooring was replaced, new ceiling lights strategically placed to highlight the feature walls, and not to mention the colour scheme and selection of all furniture.

Orthopaedic Centre

Augsburg, Germany (2021)

An existing surgery was renovated to allow for the launch of a new orthopaedic centre.

DESIGN CONCEPT:
The previous function of the rental space was a Dental clinic, traditionally white and sterile. The new surgery offered a very specialised treatment which attracts international patients. The renovation needed to be neutral, inviting, comfortable, elegant, and professional.

The colour pallet remained warm, with cognac tones connecting the wooden flooring and the sandstone feature wall. Several of the treatment rooms needed a new PU flooring, new lighting, new furniture and kitchenette, all of which needed to be disinfectant resistant.

The most exciting and challenging part was transforming three rooms into one large Xray room.
Here a new PU floor had to be installed taking into consideration the weight of the x ray machine plus integrating radiation shielded doors and walls.

Wagner Design Studio

Transform an unused showroom into an inspiring Design Studio space.

DESIGN CONCEPT:

Wagner Living is a company specializing in high quality, design orientated office and living furniture. Progressively clients are not only interested in investing in ergonomic furniture to enhance the productivity of their colleagues, they are also interested in additionally creating motivational spaces to support and underline their company ethos. Wagner Living wanted to offer additional design services to their clients.

Design was the focal point for the renovation. The aim was to show potential clients an example of how easily it is to create an inspirational space with the Wagner furniture.

The main working station reflected the initial D2 furniture prototype designed by Stefan Diez in corporation with Wagner Living exclusive for Bureau Borsche’s Office in Münich. The material is Metawell, a corrugated aluminum sandwich panel typically used for the construction of boats due to its lightweight and high corrosion qualities.

Special design highlights were used such as the Hay selves also designed by Stefan Diez, & design classics such as Cassina shelves, Capellini Lamps, Knoll Armchair & a Carl Hansen & Son Armchair.

TOPSTAR GmbH Home Office photo shoot

Locate a residential space, style and choreograph specific lifestyle images under the theme of Home Office.

DESIGN CONCEPT:

A unique Airbnb apartment was sourced, which allowed us to recreate various home office situations using the furniture from TOPSTAR. These images ran parallel with the huge international shift towards working from home and aimed at inspiring clients how to integrate “healthy” office furniture within their domestic space.

Locate, style and art direct a suitable residential space reflecting plausible home office scenarios.

To find a suitable location, one must look not only for the rightly styled space which reflects the brand’s ethos but is equally a perfect platform to showcase its products. Furthermore, the space needs to offer various photo opportunities to maximize the variety of collection intended to be photographed.

This photo shoot revolved around the topic of Home-Office and intended to inspire clients how integrate their Wagner Living furniture at home.

Wagner Living Lifestyle Images

Artistically choreography lifestyle images of Wagner Living products within the recently completed LAB.

In combination with Architects Titus Bernhard & Andreas Weißenbach, Wagner-Living has recently constructed its new marketing headquarters commonly known as The LAB. The LAB features world-wide, the biggest glass pane produced by Sedak in Gersthofen, Germany. Prior to the space being furnished, we seized the unique opportunity to choreograph minimalistic lifestyle images of products offered from Wagner-Living.

A Berlin based photo shoot campaign for Wagner-Living Office furniture.

DESIGN CONCEPT:
Establish a neutral platform to best present the ever changing and vibrancy of textiles and
products from pad home design concept GmbH.

Quality played a key role in the material and furniture selection.

A dusty and warm colour pallet that gradually changes as one moves through the various
space and zones. The result is inviting, comfortable yet elegantly inspiring.

Open Plan Kitchen

Ingolstadt, Germany (2017)

Designing and development of a 40sqm store with the creation of a unique modular shelving
system and a 60 sqm meeting room and office space for 4 people.

DESIGN CONCEPT:

The emergence of two rooms into one results in a light filled & modern open plan living/kitchen room. A cooking island with integrated downdraft ventilation and stone bench top separates both areas. Space is maximized by the kitchen bench seamlessly running into the dining area.

A bench top change from stone to wood with additional wall shelves & integrated LED lighting indicates the change of zone. The floor was leveled out and replaced with laminate flooring.

All original doors where replaced, windows were newly painted and a new electrical and lighting plan to compliment the new kitchen.

Bathroom

Wiesbaden, Germany (2018)

Conceptualization and renovation of a narrow bathroom in a rental property.

DESIGN CONCEPT:

The modernization and refurbishment of a bathroom focusing on a reduced color pallet with a minimal usage of materials. A divider wall with open niches on both sides has been tiled with marble hexagonal mosaic tiles and an integrated LED indirect light. Custom made joinery.

Living Room

Nuremberg, Germany (2017)

Create a unique living room concept and project manage the transformation.

DESIGN CONCEPT:
An Oak chevron parquet flooring replaced old outdated tiles. The fireplace was replaced and modernized with a granite benchtop, with a sheet of clear glass embossed into flooring.

All furniture was custom made and a large sofa was selected with endurable fabric appropriate for children and 3 cats. The colour scheme as vibrant, welcoming and warm. One wall featured a 3D wallpaper as the room’s main eye catcher.
